Robbie Talbot (Forward) (Squad Number - 23)
Recognised as being one of the top strikers in non-League football, he finally signed for Droylsden in February 2005 from Burton Albion. Signed for Morecambe from Burscough in February 2001 for £9,000. Previously with Marine and Rochdale, he transferred to rivals Burton Albion in the summer of 2003 for an initial £7,000 fee.

Danny Ellis (Forward) (Squad Number - 26)
Joined the Bloods on loan from Stockport County in January 2008. He joined County's Centre of Excellence when he was just 9 years old and, towards the end of the 2004-05 season, he was awarded a trainee contract. He made his reserve team debut in a Manchester Cup tie against Oldham but the highlight of his busy 2005-06 season saw him on the bench for County's last four matches and came on to make his debut against Shrewsbury Town. at Edgeley Park and made a further two appearances that season and he made a further six appearances last season.
